Monty Harris, D.C., is a native of Washington State.  He began his career in health care by
providing pre-hospital emergency medical care as a firefighter/paramedic in Richland,
Washington.

He received specialized training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life
Support, and Pediatric Trauma Life Support.  He was a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
instructor for Emergency Medical Technicians and was listed in the National Registry of
Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic.

His Emergency Medical Service experience gave him firsthand knowledge of the value of
good health.  Many of his patients were chronically ill and making repeated trips to the
Emergency Department.  Their quality of life was very poor.  Many had such long lists of
medications that they had lost track of why they were taking them.  Their health was on a
downward spiral that in most cases was the result of poor lifestyle choices.

When the time came to make a career change, Dr. Harris knew he wanted to stay in health
care.  But instead of emergency intervention in crisis situations, his focus shifted.  He
realized that the best way to help people was to empower them to restore and maintain their
health.  Then the crises could be avoided.

Dr. Harris is a summa cum laude graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in
Spartanburg, South Carolina.  He pursued post-graduate studies in Specific Upper Cervical
Chiropractic techniques and established
Chiropractic for Life, a private practice, in his home
town in Washington.

A life-changing mission trip with other Upper Cervical doctors to serve the people of Costa
Rica inspired a move to Oklahoma.  He continued learning more about Upper Cervical
Chiropractic and applied that knowledge as Clinic Director of a non-profit children's
chiropractic center.

Always seeking the best for his practice members, Dr. Harris continued his technical
education.  He incorporated a system of light-force contacts into his protocol and earned his
certification from the Bio Cranial Institute.  Equipped with a deeper understanding of the
relationship between structure and function, he founded
Bio Cranial Wellness Center.

Dr. Monty Harris and his wife, Cindy, have two daughters.  The love and support the family has
given him over the years has enabled him to pursue the education and expertise that he
brings to his practice.
